According to Khabar Fori, the Mining, Mineral Industries, Mineral Processing, and Mining Machinery and Road Construction Exhibition, with the participation of 80 production, industrial, and service companies from across the country, was inaugurated on Wednesday, August 16, at the Zanjan International Exhibition Center.

One of the highlights of this exhibition was the unveiling of several promising knowledge-based projects in line with the Leader’s directives to strengthen national production. The inauguration of these projects not only meets the country's complete needs but also prevents the outflow of foreign currency for purchasing foreign parts.

Yesterday afternoon, Gohar Sanat Company (Kerman Province) had two national unveilings. The first was the unveiling of the control and monitoring system for electric mining dump trucks. Previously, all monitoring systems for mining dump trucks were imported. Fortunately, domestic specialists have succeeded in localizing these systems during the year of production, knowledge-based entrepreneurship, and have shone brightly. The second unveiling was the commencement of the construction of 150-ton electric mining dump trucks, which will significantly assist miners.

Alireza Saadatmand, Chairman of the Board of Gohar Sanat Company, told a Khabar Fori reporter at the unveiling: "Fortunately, the control and monitoring system for mining dump trucks was unveiled today, freeing the country from dependence on foreign sources. Until today, these systems were imported. In other words, when electric mining dump trucks move, their control systems are electric and must be guided by systems and computers."

He stated: "When one of these cards or boards burned out, the mining dump trucks, which could generate several hundred million tomans daily, had to be stopped until the board was repaired or a new one was purchased from abroad. This issue caused mining dump trucks to be halted for months until the board was restarted, as these boards had to be purchased from Africa or Australia."

The Chairman of Gohar Sanat Company explained: "Moreover, after purchasing the board, there was a risk of error because various versions and models exist in the global market, and there was a possibility of incompatibility between the new board and the system installed in the country for mining dump trucks."

He added: "Eventually, the sons of this land decided to localize the control and monitoring system for mining dump trucks. Thanks to God and the Leader's guidance, they achieved this success; the tests of this system were conducted, and with 100% success, it is now usable in mines across the country."

Saadatmand added: "The design of the control system is fully completed, and we are ready to provide this system with new modeling to the country's mines, and we have no issues in this regard. We have received many orders from all parts of the country, and God willing, we are designing their models. We promise that if the board or card of the computer systems of mining dump trucks burns out or breaks down, we will restart their systems within a day."

Designing the Control System for Locomotives Next

He expressed: "The company's vision is to design the control and monitoring system for locomotives, as we have obtained the main design solutions for this industry and can implement them on other machines and equipment managed by electric propulsion."

The Chairman of Gohar Sanat Company referred to another unveiling by the company at this exhibition and said: "Recently, the Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade was in Belarus and signed a memorandum of understanding for importing 150-ton mining dump trucks. This memorandum of understanding does not mean that the country cannot operate in this field, so we decided to enter the design and construction of 150-ton electric mining dump trucks. Today, simultaneously with the unveiling of the control and monitoring system for mining dump trucks, this topic was also initiated."

He said: "The construction of electric mining dump trucks has a completely environmental approach, and we believe that the environment is for future generations, and we must protect it. The advantage of electric mining dump trucks is that they no longer have gearboxes and differentials and are entirely electric. Fortunately, with the construction of electric mining dump trucks, most of the miners' concerns nationwide will be resolved."

Saadatmand concluded: "Gohar Sanat Company has gathered all the country's specialists from various parts of this land and is actively working."
